I've walked by this place several times and was curious, so I finally decided to stop in for dinner. I'm SO glad I did! My companion and I arrived early for our dinner reservation and decided to have drinks at the bar. That was the best decision I've made in a while because sitting beside me at the bar was none other than the General Manager, Edin Alvarez. I only learned that after I had spoken to him for a while and told him how much I was enjoying my Lychee Martini. He informed me that the recipe was his own and gave me many other insights into the food and menu. First, the staff was a fun and friendly group. They all clearly enjoyed their jobs, working together, and making the customer happy. A shout-out to Lydia, Eddie, CJ, and Francisco! They'll be seeing me again soon. We opted for the AYCE (all-you-can-eat) option A. It contained beef, which my dining companion doesn't normally eat, but we found dishes we enjoyed between the different proteins offered. I have to insert a warning here - AYCE is REALLY AYCE and our server, Lydia, made sure she kept the food coming. She did her job TOO well because we had to ask her to stop bringing us more food because we were making gluttons of ourselves. She agreed to stop bringing out more food only on the condition that I try the beef brisket, which was the only thing I hadn't tried. I tried to say no, but she insisted, and I'll never question her recommendations again. It was delicious! It was so good that my non-beef-eating companion asked for a taste; even he had to admit it was amazing. This was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I've ever had, and I will definitely make it one of my regular dining choices. Do yourself a favor and stop by, have a drink at the bar (I highly recommend the lychee martini), and then enjoy the experience at the table.

I came here on a Monday evening for a team dinner. The restaurant is fairly small, but vibes were good and they were able to seat all of us and have enough servers to check on us, which I appreciated! We ordered a few beer/soju towers for our tables which were great and drinks all around were pretty strong. Our servers were great at checking in and bringing us new meats as well as asking if we needed help cooking or wanted a grill tray replaced. I liked all of the banchan veggie side dish options. The meats themselves were a range and I liked the variety of options. The brisket and the bulgogi were probably my favorite, but some of the steak was underseasoned and desperately needed salt, and the pork belly was very thickly cut so it took a while to cook. The shrimp pleasantly surprised me with how flavorful, plump and juicy they were! The staff were really nice and also brought out complimentary soju shots for us as well which was a really nice touch. Overall, not the best KBBQ I've had but really great service for our large group, would recommend for a team dinner!

Food was delicious. Come hungry. Drinks were strong and great too. Our server Javier was always there when we needed something and laid back still. Let us do our thing but ready to jump in to help if we seemed a little confused. Nice guy.

Atmosphere: Gogi Yogi has a dark, sleek, and modern interior. There's plenty of seating inside, but it can fill up pretty quickly! Service: We came towards the end of their dinner service, but they were more than happy to accommodate us. The servers were friendly and attentive! Food: Under the AYCE option A, we ordered veggies, beef brisket, pork belly, and spicy pork belly. We came in with some reservations about the quality of the meat based on other reviews, but we had no complaints about the meat served during our meal. The brisket and pork belly were our favorites! Overall: When we came to DC hungry, Gogi Yogi delivered. One big plus is that they're open until 11:30pm on weekends, making it a great spot to fuel up after a night out in DC. Their quality is pretty solid, which was reflected in the price. Although many others have recommended a better bang for your buck in Virginia, if you're in DC, we'd recommend Gogi Yogi to satisfy your KBBQ craving.

My college girl friends and I decided to hit up this little spot in DC and we were not dissapointed. All of the food was amazing and they even had options (though limited) for my vegan self. I don't expect anything for myself from kbbq places so it was a pleasant surprise. The service was quick and friendly. We were able to get help from anyone who was in the area but our server was very attentive to our table. It is on the smaller side but that could also be because there were so many customers at the time. Very cozy feeling. If you have a reservation, you will not be seated until all of your party members are present. In additiom, parking is attrocious. Much like the rest of the retail in DC, there is no specific parking for gogi yogi. If you go at a time that is not busy it will be much easier to find a spot. All in all, I loved the place and would like to go back one day. I highly recommend this place to amyone who loves kbbq or wishes to try it.

Some of the best food I have ever had!! The food overall is so flavorful and definitely worth the money for the all you can eat options. The service is also great! They will ask if you would like them to cook your meat for you or if you would like to just do it yourself. If you say you would like to do it yourself, they will check up on you to make sure you are okay. The restaurant it self is nice and has a very cool vibe to it but the music is super loud so if you are going with a big group, you probably won't hear each other talking.

Finally got around to checking out gogiyogi! Overall it's such a fun experience with friends. I got wrapped up in the cooking and forgot to take photos of all the meats but overall this was a good experience. Our server and the staff was very attentive and ensured we were constantly stocked on all things meat, sides and drinks. It was pretty busy inside and thankfully we had a reservation. The only thing was the reservation is only 90 minutes and it did start before we sat which was a little strange. But overall it was good - I'm sure we will be back!
